Sports Coach
Coaches are vital in the execution of all Kids In Sports programming. Coaches take direction from Class Directors and Senior Coaches to carry out all individual and necessary components of any Kids In Sports program to company standards. With all programs prepared to operate smoothly, Coaches focus efforts on improving direct customer relations with children and their families.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct sports activities with children ages 12 months to 12 years old
- Consistently set an energetic, positive and enthusiastic tone.
- Provide encouragement and coaching during activities to help children gain skills and have a healthy attitude toward competition.
- Monitor the safe use of equipment and manage positive participation among all children.
- Prepare, store and clean equipment.
- Conduct birthday parties.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Positive, outgoing and energetic
- 1-2 years experience as a coach of children 12 mos. to 12 years.
- Customer-oriented with parents and caregivers.
- Effective discipline skills.
- Good communication with parents, co-workers and superiors
- Willingness and ability to follow curriculum and company standards.
- Passion for sports and children
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
Hours & Schedule:
- Weekdays and weekends available
- Hours range from 8:30AM-7:00PM
- Morning/mid-day/afternoon – classes

Class Director
Reporting to Kids In Sports Management, the Class Director focuses efforts and attention on continuous improvement of the Kids In Sports programming. The Class Director has leadership responsibility for program execution. Class Directors ensure that Kids In Sports curriculum, teaching practices, and company standards are upheld by all coaching staff before, during, and after any Kids In Sports offering (class, camp, party, or event).
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead sports activities with children ages 12 months to 12 years old.
- Represent Kids In Sports to families and act as liaison with management to provide parent feedback and program interests.
- Consistently set an energetic, positive and enthusiastic tone.
- Communicate daily to management on the performance of Coaches and keep up-to-date records of Coaches’ performance.
- Observe and provide feedback to existing Coaches.
- Train new Coaches.
- Accountable for ongoing improvement of Coach training program and Coach staff development.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Positive, outgoing and energetic.
- 1-2 years experience management/supervisory experience in children’s sports or recreational setting.
- 2-4 years experience working with children 12 months to 12 years old in sports or recreational activities.
- Experience developing and supervising athletic coaches is a plus.
- Customer-oriented with parents and caregivers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Passion for sports and children.

Pre School Athlete Director
Reporting to Kids In Sports Management, the Pre School Athlete Director focuses efforts and attention on continuous improvement of the Kids In Sports Pre School Athlete programming. The Pre School Athlete Director has leadership responsibility for program execution. Pre School Athlete Directors ensure that Kids In Sports curriculum, teaching practices, and company standards are upheld by all coaching staff before, during, and after any Kids In Sports offering (class, camp, party, or event).

- Lead sports and classroom activities with children ages 1 years to 5 years old.
- Consistently seek ways to refine and improve Pre School Athlete classroom curriculum and practices.
- Represent Kids In Sports to families and act as liaison with management to provide parent feedback and program interests.
- Consistently set an energetic, positive and enthusiastic tone.
- Communicate daily to management on the performance of Coaches and keep up-to-date records of Coaches’ performance.
- Observe and provide feedback to existing Coaches.
- Train new Coaches.

Office Administrator
Reporting to Kids In Sports Management, the Office Administrator is a key member of the customer service team and the face of the company with families and staff. Additionally, he or she works to maximize productivity, efficiency, and organization in the office.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Implement all phone and front desk procedures related to family registration and greeting athletes.
- Responsible for written and phone communication to customers and vendors.
- Conduct mail and email marketing campaigns.
- Post announcements on website; maintains website back end; updates information about events and calendars.
- Administer scheduling changes on website.
- Book and coordinate parties and events as needed.
- Maintain registration waiting lists.
- Update seasonal reports; monitors trends.
- Maintain petty cash supply and record keeping.
- Responsible for collecting and placing inventory orders.
- Process donations to school auctions.
- Distribute attendance cards and rosters for events.
- Maintain office administrative files.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Enthusiastic, energetic and personable working with kids and parents.
- 1-2 years of experience as an office administrator or administrative assistant.
- Excellent phone manner and face-to-face customer contact.
- Excellent time management skills; must be able to manage many tasks quickly and efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Demonstrate good judgment and decision-making capabilities.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Word and Excel as well as MAC operating system.
- Experience working in a children’s business a plus.
- Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
Hours & Schedule:
- Weekdays 8:30AM-5:30PM
- Potential opportunity for weekend part-time hours
