Covid Policies 2022

Covid-19 Policies:

New Rules & Regulations (updated 3/29/2022)

Our goal is to make Kids In Sports as safe and as normal as possible for the kids. This being said, we ask for your cooperation during these ever changing times.

To help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and keep everyone safe and healthy, please read below:

  • Please enter Kids In Sports only a few minutes prior to the class start time. This is to limit the amount of people in the building at once.
  • Indoors, masks will be optional for children starting on April 4th, 2022 (at KIS 74th and 2nd.) Temple Israel has their own set of rules.
  • All adults in the building including coaches will still be required to wear a mask.
  • These policies are subject to change at any time. We may change our mask policy for kids or adults based on CDC recommendations and/or Kids In Sports comfort levels. This includes possible rise in cases etc.
  • Kids In Sports will be not be providing snacks for Preschool Classes or Camps. Children can bring their own snacks with them, but they must be nut-free.
  • Please put your name on your child's water bottle.
  • We ask for your patience and understanding when you arrive and depart Kids In Sports. We understand that these changes can be difficult for young children to adapt to, so we will work together to make it a fun experience for them.

Health of children, parents and staff:

If your child and/or the adult accompanying them to Kids In Sports for class has a temperature or is coughing, sneezing or showing potential signs of sickness, please do not attend class that day. Contact Kids In Sports to schedule a make-up class. If the child attends class while coughing or showing signs of sickness, the coaches may ask them to leave and come back for a makeup when well.

If you, your child or anyone who has been in the facility tests COVID-19 positive OR symptomatic and presumed by their medical provider to have COVID-19, please do not return to Kids In Sports until they have met the criteria for discontinuing home isolation and have consulted with their medical provider. Kids In Sports will notify families and staff about exposure while maintaining confidentiality.

Thank you for your continued support and assistance while we navigate these times together!
